Center for Environmental Policy Campus Visits (Ongoing)
Annandale-on-Hudson, NY
Whether you are hoping to better understand class structure, make connections with faculty and current students, or get a feel for campus culture - visiting campus is the best way to find out if Bard Center for Environmental Policy is the right fit for you. When you register for a campus visit, our Bard Graduate Programs in Sustainability admissions staff work with you to customize an on-campus experience when it is convenient for you. Your visit may include:
- Attending classes
- Having lunch with current students
- Meetings with faculty
- Taking a campus tour
When to Visit:
We want you to visit when it works best for you. However, there are some time frames and days of the week that will set you up for a more enjoyable experience. Carolyn Allwin, Bard MBA Finance Faculty, and US Head of ESG, Capco
Emerging ESG Regulation in the US and Europe
In the last decade, ESG risk assessment, ESG value creation, and ESG investing have emerged as increasingly central concerns of companies and investors. As the data supporting these initiatives comes under greater scrutiny, regulatory frameworks are emerging in Europe and the US. In the Bard MBA inaugural Bard MBA instructor Carolyn Allwin will provide an overview of these regulatory systems.
Allwin is a business advisor, investor and executor with experience in asset management, venture capital, impact investing and sustainable investing. Allwin holds a JD and MBA.
The session will take place on Zoom.

MBA Residency Visit

Each semester the Bard MBA in Sustainability holds one residency weekend at the Bard College campus in Annandale-on-Hudson, NY. Whether you are a Hudson Valley local or you just want an opportunity to explore (who can resist the Hudson Valley's changing leaves and apple picking in October ?) - please join us for our upstate residency!
Attending a residency visit provides you the opportunity to better understand the Bard MBA weekend residency structure, make connections with faculty and current students, and get a feel for our community's culture. It is truly the best way to see if the Bard MBA in Sustainability is the right fit for you. When you register for a residency visit, our Bard Graduate Programs in Sustainability admissions staff work with you to customize your visit, which may include:
- Attending classes
- Having lunch with current students
- Meetings with Program Director and Faculty
- Taking part in the annual Community Dinner

Weekend in the City
Brooklyn, NY

Once each semester, the Bard MBA in Sustainability invites those individuals who have already started an application to attend an extended residency visit at their location in Brooklyn, NY. This visit gives applicants the opportunity to not only experience a residency for themselves, but to truly embed themselves into the community. Those who attend can expect to:
- Participate in classes
- Enjoy meals with MBA community members
- Take part in private meetings with both current students and faculty
- Attend the MBA community meeting.
