Inside Sustainability with the Bard MBA: Democratizing Innovation

Brooklyn, NY

December 18, 2025

07:00 PM EST

Join Bard College’s #1–ranked MBA in Sustainability program for a live recording of our popular podcast, Lead the Change. The Inside Sustainability live podcast series brings you into candid, unfiltered conversations with faculty, alumni, practitioners, and thought leaders about what it takes to drive real change in today’s rapidly shifting world.

This month, we’re joined by Alejandro Juárez Crawford and Miriam Plavin-Masterman, authors of One Size Fits None, for a conversation on what it really takes to democratize innovation and transform an economic system that isn’t working for communities, entrepreneurs, or the planet. Together, they’ll explore:

  • Why today’s venture-driven model leaves most entrepreneurs behind
  • How communities can build their own pathways to innovation and prosperity
  • What an “entrepreneurial revolution” looks like in practice
  • How democratizing access to capital, knowledge, and networks can drive sustainable change

Following the 30-minute live podcast recording, join us for a salon-style discussion on the future of inclusive, community-rooted innovation.

Light refreshments and small bites provided.
