About Renay Loper
Renay is a Clinical Faculty member in Organizational Leadership at the Bard MBA in Sustainability program, where she focuses on justice-centered transformation in the workplace. Her work is rooted in the belief that real change happens when bold ideas meet collaborative action—something she’s championed throughout her career.
Before joining Bard, Renay served as Vice President of Program Innovation at PYXERA Global, where she:

Led five international offices and advised Fortune 500 companies on their social impact strategies.

Co-led the organization's Inclusive Circular Cities initiative, driving sustainable solutions in urban spaces.

Spearheaded ARC (Antiracist Collective), fostering internal and external efforts to dismantle systemic inequities.

Launched Rhetoric to Action, a conversation series designed to bridge sectors and inspire collective action around social justice.
Renay’s career also includes leading grassroots education programs at the Japan Foundation Center for Global Partnership and holding leadership positions across higher education, nonprofits, and the private sector. She is an avid speaker, facilitator, and published author with works including Student Affairs Professionals Cultivating Campus Climates Inclusive of International Students (Jossey-Bass).
Beyond her professional work, Renay serves on the boards of several mission-driven organizations, including Community Change, Harpswell Foundation, and Girl Rising.
